The Beuaituful ballet shoes

After I cleaned my books, I found a story and I would also want to share with you all. I wish you will love this story ~ ENJOY!

~ The Beautifull Ballet Shoes ~

One Saturday morning, Teresa was on her way to ballet class. right next door to Mrs Maze's Ballet School was to Ballet Boutique. As Teresa walked past it she spotted the most beautiful pair of ballet shoes she'd ever seen sitting in the window. They were pearly white and made of satin.

After class, Teresa raced back to the Ballet Boutique.

"How much are those lovely ballet shoes in the window?" she asked the shop assistant.

Sadly, it turned out that they cost a lot more money than Teresa had in her purse. When Teresa got home, she told me all about the beautiful pair of ballet shoes.

"They're so pretty," she sighed, "But I don't have enough money to buy them."

I thought hard. Then I reached for a pencil scribbled some sums.

"Well," I finally, "you'll be able to buy them if you save up your pocket money for four weeks."

"Our end of term ballet show is in exactly four weeks!" cried Teresa.

"Perfect," I replied. "If you work really hard on your ballet steps until then, the time will fly by!"

Teresa immediately went off to practise. For the nest four weeks, she spent every spare moment rehearsing her steps for the show.

Finally, the day of the performance arrived. Teresa was especially excited because after the show she was planning to buy her ballet shoes.

Teresa remembered all her steps perfectly. At the end, Mrs Maze made an announcement.

"Every team, I give a prize to the girl who has made the most progress," she began.

Teresa could not believe her eyes when Mrs Maze handed her the prettily wrapped prize. But she was even more surprised when she opened it.

Inside the tissue paper were the pearly white satin ballet shoes!

"Well you certainly earned those ballet shoes in more ways than one! " I grinned, when Teresa came off stage.

"And you've earned yourself a milkshake, for all your good advice! "replied Teresa.

"After all, I've got to spend all the pocket money I saved on something! " she added with a grin.
